This is a decent book, but I feel with just a little more effort it could have been much better. The book contains 5 sections. In each section is a handful of stories, all take from news media sources. I find that aspect of the book very interesting. So you read a few articles, and then you get to the end of that section where you are asked questions. A summary follows the questions that attempts to answer the questions. My issue was that not all questions are addressed in the summaries. So, while I am left with good questions, in some instances they are left unanswered. But... otherwise it's the only book of it's type. Its nice just to sit down and read many stories of security officers using questionable force from one source. Once I was two-thirds the way through the book I started realizing how easy it would be to cross the line from legal to criminal. And I think that is the ultimate point of the book. But it definitely makes you start thinking about how you would handle all the varied situations.as you read through it. It makes you realize that things can happen so fast, and if you're not really careful you can make a mistake you don't really want to make. It makes you realize how prepared you always need to be. It is certainly a worthwhile read. Would love to see a new edition with more stories, and better summaries.Product details

I have found the, "Security Officer Training ManualNews Headlines & Review" to be a very useful Training Aid as it brings to light what actually happens while a person is working in this field.It also cause,s interaction of the Officers studying.
