Agile SAP eBook Sean Robson
There is a big difference between using Agile on internal development projects and using it on complex ERP business software implementations for customers. Robson does a credible job highlighting how to make the transition between a mega-waterfall implementation and what parts of a hybrid Agile approach seem to work. Having done SAP in the past, and now Microsoft AX ERP, this book was both informative and comforting; I wasn't sure if agile could really work as well as waterfall. Even so, using agile with a customer not familiar with agile, and unwilling to devote their internal resources more to the project is a challenge. If you are in transition to Agile, and selling ERP business software implementations, this book is a must read. Nice work Sean Robson.Product details

Agile SAP eBook Sean Robson Reviews
Sean's book describes in detail why the Agile SAP Implementation Methodology leads to faster implementations and enhanced customer satisfaction. It addresses the shortfalls of the traditional Waterfall ASAP Methodology and provides a road map for success. It applies common sense to the daily work, fosters collaboration between project team members and business representatives and explains how great results can be achieved without detailing tasks to the dot. Being more than 20 years in the SAP environment, I have applied AGILE SAP to my last 2 projects with amazing results.
This book helped me during DevOps assessment for a large retailer recently. I highly recommend if to SAP professionals.
I have been reading up on SAP Agile on the internet, but no where I could find all the practical information that the author has compiled in this book. It is a must read for people who are thinking of implementing Agile methodologies for SAP. Its one to just read the theory and not know how to apply to situations which actually arise on real world projects. But numerous such situations have been addressed in this book. That's what makes it great. I am extremely happy with my purchase and highly recommend this book.
I've been leading an agile SAP project for a year now and there's nothing in here that we haven't already figured out PLUS a few things that simply don't work. However, if you've never done a true agile development project in SAP, this is a cheaper (at a high price for the book) alternative than hiring me to come tell you how to do it. Eventually, you'll still need expert care, but this will get you started.
